I finally finished watching all the episodes of Blood+. I cried. I spent the last two hours being slightly depressed because it was so good. If anyone is looking for something to watch, I highly recommend it. You can view it on Veoh for free. Just type "blood plus" into the search box and follow that up with the episode number you want. There are fifty episodes.

I'm moving on to Cowboy Bebop now. I've decided that I'm already in total character-love with him:

I haven't even seen an episode, but I know he's my man from the bios and fanfic I've dabbled in.

After a lovely long weekend that involved fandom goodness and many afternoon naps, I have to go back to work tomorrow. It's such a drag. I was so bummed about the return of work that I bought two tubs of Tiramisu Italian Gelato at Trader Joe's today. I promised myself I'd ration it out nightly so I don't enough up eating five servings of it in one sitting. Little bowls with single servings are my friends.

Those anime series I mentioned downloading a couple days ago? They're still downloading. I'm snagging them off Bittorrent, so I'm not getting the maximum download speed possible. It fluctuates between 2kbps and 20kbps. Plus, I'm downloading two series at the same time. I have nearly two gigs of one and half a gig of the other.

I'm still watching Blood+. Haji makes me swoon. How can you deny a guy who plays a cello?

Work has been terribly slow. I spent most of my day reading. I'm nearly half finished with the novel I started this morning.

Here's a picture of Ferguson in his blanket cave with two toys guarding the entrance. Why? Just because he's super cute.

I have so much love for YouTube right now. Insane amounts of love.

For the last two weeks, I've watched episodes of Blood (Blood Plus) on the Cartoon Network. They show it late Saturday night (or early Sunday morning, whichever you prefer). I immediately took to the show and began a search for the DVDs. You can imagine my disappointment when I realized the episodes have never had a DVD release in the US. I did find DVDs of the first thirty episodes from Malaysia, but they weren't the correct region. An anime nerd (I have much love for the anime nerds) on a message board said that Sony had bought the rights to the DVD release for this series. Apparently, Sony has a shaky track record with anime releases. Basically, they put the series on the back burner if they don't think it is going to rake in the cash.

Dammit. I need to know more about Saya and Haji and all the other people whose names I don't know yet.

YouTube to the rescue! Some kind, kind soul has posted all fifty episodes of the series. I'm downloading the eleventh episode as I type this. For those who aren't aware, you can use this very easy method to download YouTube videos on your hard drive.
