Poor Fergie and a Meme

Poor Ferguson is a bit sick! He's a small dog (about ten pounds), so the three shots he received yesterday were a bit much for him combined with the excitement of coming to work with me. He started showing stress on the way home from work, and by the time we got into the apartment, he was out-of-it. He spent the evening wrapped up in a blanket, sleeping. The shots made his hips rather sore, and he was unable to jump up onto the furniture or walk very well. He even cried and whined when I picked him up a couple times. The shots also made him terribly tired and spacey. I felt like a heel all evening because he looked so damn pathetic. To make up for it, I brought him to work with me today. It's been snowing off and on today, and I didn't want the hassle of going home at lunch to check on him. Thankfully, he's doing much better now.

No, no, no. I didn't like any of the boys I went to high school with in that way.

Yikes, no.

No, my dad drove me until I was old enough to drive myself.

A powder blue 1992 Subaru station wagon.

5. What kind of car do you have now?
A grey 2000 Hyundai Accent.

At home reading or watching television with my parents.

At home reading or watching a movie with Jason.

8. What kind of job did you have in high school?
A kennel attendant at a boarding kennel near my house.

9. What kind of job do you do now?
The accounts payable manager for a construction company.

10. Were you considered a flirt?
Not at all. I fail at flirting or knowing if I'm being flirted with.

11. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Hell, no. I couldn't be paid to attend after school functions.

12. Were you a nerd?
I was in advanced placement classes through most of my school career, and I loved reading, so I guess I was.

13. Did you get suspended or expelled?
No. I didn't do much to get in trouble for.

14. Can you sing the fight song?
I didn't know we had one, but then again, I didn't attend pep rallies or sporting events.

15. Who was/were your favorite teacher?
Ms. Hazlett, who pushed me to go after things I didn't believe were in my reach.

16. Where did you sit during lunch?
Outside under the stairway that lead up to the main entrance to the building.

17. When did you graduate?
1999.

18. What was your school mascot?
I think it was a Patriot, wherever that is. It was some George Washington-looking fellow with a whig and breeches.

19. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
No, I'm happy right where I am.

20. Did you have fun at Prom? What was the song?
There are songs for Prom? I had no idea, probably because I did not attend Prom. It was never a thought that crossed my mind.

21. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?
N/A?

22. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
Nope.

23. Do you still talk to people from school?
A small handful of people who I have been in contact with on social networkings sites. We're not especially close, though I guess I was never really close to anyone during high school.

24. What are/were your school's colors?
This is pathetic, but I have no idea. I don't remember.

I am just catching up on my flist or I would have commented before now; I hope Fergie is doing better. Was it just standard shots he was supposed to have?

Yes, it was just his rabies and his parvo/distemper. I also had them give him the shot to prevent kennel cough since I take him to the dog park every week. It guess it was the combination of all three shots at once that wiped him out. He was okay for a couple hours, but then he started becoming sluggish and would just sit there and stare at nothing. He slept most of the evening and all night. It wasn't until the next morning that he started wagging his tail again. Luckily, he's 100% better now.
