CERN's Large Hadron Collider will begin colliding protons tomorrow. Despite the low levels of panic and unrest, I do not believe they're going to smash some particles and create a massive black hole to suck up the earth. They have admitted that small black holes will likely be created, but these evaporate before they can grow or do any damage. I do, however, hope they are able to make some interesting discoveries, including finding the Higgs boson. Then again, if they can't find that Higgs, then something is awry, and theories will have to be revamped to account for this. Which is super exciting as well.

Oh, and work sucks today. My lunch is going to be delayed indefinitely because of some stupid bid I'm involved in.
