Banished Paperwork

I finally got to a point where I'm not swamped by work. My desk is nearly clear of paperwork and I only have a few things pending. My biggest task is actually planning the company Christmas party. I've been in contact with several hotels, trying to organize the dinner. 0_0 Expensive much? The food alone will be over $2,000. My fellow employees like their drinks, so I estimate the bar tab will be at least another $1,000. I'm glad this isn't my money.

Has anyone seen Short Cuts? I'm thinking of renting it this weekend, but I'm unsure.

I've never even heard of it but I looked it up.. my god, what a cast!

I recommend Love Actually, if you haven't seen it. Playing by Heart is an ensemble piece about an extended family in Los Angeles. If nothing else it has Ryan Phillipe in it.

Good luck with the party....I hate those.

I saw Short Cuts waaay back when it was in theaters and really liked it. Hope you enjoy it -- and congratulations on getting on top of the new gig :)
