I was too tired to read last night and started flipping channels looking for the least offensive program to leave it on while I vegged out. I happened upon some reality show about a tattoo shop. A man in his early 60s was getting a tattoo of bird on his shoulder. When he took off his shirt for the tattoo artist, he revealed bird tattoos that covered his entire upper body - chest, arms, and shoulders. The tattoo artist inquired about the tattoos and the man said that his wife died 14 months ago and she had never allowed him to get tattoos. When she passed, he started. He decided on birds because she loved to watch birds. I found that bit of information extremely touching. He was remembering his wife by incorporating her love of birds with his desire to get a tattoo. True love.

I saw a few minutes of one of the TWO shows on about tattoo parlours.....can you believe that? But they were arguing and not doing tattoos which I would have found interesting.

Do you think I can get DH to have bird tattoos done in case of my untimely demise.....LMAO...I'm more likely to get airplane tattoos in case he goes first..not happening.
