I'm highly annoyed at my e-mail account. If anyone has tried to reach me at amanda@pommedesang.com for the last week, I have not received your message. It isn't working for some odd reason. I actually resorted to deleting it and setting it up again. No go.
I'll offically be the Accounts Payable Manager on Monday. This is exciting. I moved all of my belongings into the office this afternoon. I'm optimistic about the coming weeks. The job doesn't seem too difficult and I'm not really worried about keeping up. I'll be able to dump all my grunt work off on someone else next week. And the new Coheed and Cambria album is going to be released in about 10 days.
In other news - I'm still extremely tired. I'm convinced that it has been the stress of the last two weeks. Like I said, I have hope that it will be much better next week.
And to prevent this from being an insanely boring entry: an excerpt from Faust...
My God, this child is beautiful!
I've never seen the like of it.
She is so proper and so virtuous,
and yet a little snippy too.
The red of her lips, the light of her face,
will be forever in my mind!
The way she shyly drops her eyes
is stamped profoundly in my heart.
How pert and curt she was with me -
a sheer delight, an ecstasy!
