Question: What is wrong with my cactus? (please look at Exhibit A)

Exhibit A -

I've had it for over two years and it had grown quite a bit, however this summer it has doubled in size. Because of this sudden growth, it cannot support itself. I fear it is going to fall over completely and die. And I'm rather attached to it so I might cry if that happens.

And while we are on the subject of plants. My miniture rosebush is alive. ALIVE! It was virtually dead when I came into possession of it. I nursed it back from about ten leaves. It's still sickly-looking, but doing much better. And it has a rosebud. This thrills me so much I have a picture of it.

And just because I had my camera out, I took a picture of my experiment. There was a large ficus tree in the office atrium. It was two stories tall and had to be cut down because it was pushing the skylights. I felt bad about its death and snatched a few clippings from it in hopes that it would live on. I'm attempting to grow a bonsai ficus tree. Being the studious one I am, I researched it and found that it can be done without too much difficulty. The leaves are still large because it has yet to be trained to grow properly, but I have high hopes for it.

And just for the hell of it, I took a picture from the balcony of the sky yesterday evening. Clouds were everywhere, but no rain.
