Jason and I have finally broken down and rented the damn Batman movie--The Dark Knight. It has to be decent, right? So many of you like it, but I have reservations. And two and a half hours? For real? If you're not Andrei Tarkovsky, then your movie shouldn't be clocking in past two hours. I'll eat my words if I adore the film, but I've just seen one too many girls dressed up like The Joker to have much confidence. Plus, this will always be my Joker.

I cannot think of any possible way this song could be made better. Robin Thicke is wonderful, and I cannot feel crabby when listening to him. Much love, Robin, much love.

I didn't LOOOOOVE it, but it was entertaining and I enjoyed myself.


Plus, the Joker in drag is sort of, um... alarmingly hot. *writhes in horror*

I liked The Joker in it, but everything else was... meh. Not so hot.

I like Batman, a lot. And when I say this was the best ever I am very serious. Well, as serious as one can be about Batman movies. Heath Ledger was quite disturbing as the Joker, I was afraid he'd just rip off Jack Nicholson, but he didn't. Nicholson has a certain flair that no one else quite catches. I feel more and more like a twelve year old boy. I'll be playing WoW next.

Don't fall into the WoW trap! My brother did, and he turned into some red-eyed, insomniac addict who spent hundreds of dollars on "gold" in the game. He isn't involved in it any longer, but that's because he lives with my mother and she is denying him internet access.

I liked a few bits of the Batman movie, but overall, I didn't enjoy it that much. My main problem was the blockbuster pacing. I don't know what else to call it, but it is when they insert an action sequence every 15 to 20 minutes instead of when the flow of the movie lends itself to such a thing.
