First, how completely wonderful is my Mugen icon? He's flipping off the world. I love him more than I can say.

I think everyone knows I have a soft spot for ridiculously silly hip-hop/rap songs with a nice beat. So, it isn't really a surprise that I love "Lollipop" by Lil Wayne. It wasn't until I listened to the uncensored version of it that I heard the "no homo" remark at the beginning.

The song is obviously about women. I don't think that can be in question if you've heard even part of it. However, at the beginning, he says, "He's so sweet, makes me want to lick the wrapper. So, I let her lick the rapper." I thought it was a witty little play on words. Wrapper, rapper. Ha! Cute. He adds the "he's so sweet" at the beginning because that's what the chick he's singing about says. I didn't think he was referring to a fellow he liked or a fellow that liked him. It appears that the homophobia rampant in the rap industry had to be thrown in there for good measure. Before he says the line I mentioned above, he assures us by saying, "No homo." Nice. Thanks for that clarification.

And to top it all off, there are actually people arguing over the "gayness" of the song on YouTube. For real?

I think a guy at the park asked me out today. I think. I wasn't quite clear on things, and I'm totally inept when it comes to dealing with men who show interest. I told Jason that we might need to wear wedding rings even if we're not married. It isn't like I'm fighting them off with a bat, but how awkward to be semi-asked-out and having to explain that I'm nearly married by common law. I suck at social interactions. The guy wasn't really my type. He was cute, in his late 30s, and a fighter pilot to boot, but I'm willing to bet my massive CD collection that we have nothing in common other than being dog owners. Besides, right now I'm holding out for Richard Armitage.

I suppose that's true. I assume most women liked to be asked out, even if they aren't available. I *hate* it. I always feel bad telling someone no. He told me many tales of his experiences flying. He takes his dog with him while flying sometimes. I had no idea they were allowed to do that, but he said he requested permission, and it was given to him. The dog was a massive (yet adorable) pit bull puppy that, oddly enough, got along quite well with Ferguson. I'm staying away from the pilots, though. I hear they're just trouble. ;-)

They let him take his dog? I have a LOT of trouble believing that, lol. Trouble pretty much says it all.
