This just struck me as interesting.

Taken from an article on Pseudosix and speaking about their singer and songwriter, Tim Perry.

Speaking of Pseudosix. God, they are so amazing. I could wallow in their songs for hours, roll in them and relish their touch. A low-key unrest and fight against apathy. It does my soul good. It soothes me. I wrote them such a gushing e-mail this morning and sent it to their yahoo address. I don't even know if they check it anymore, but I hope they get it and it makes someone's day better, even if just by a small degree.

I think about the time when being under thirty was considered the only age group that had the guts to say something serious. It's odd how some people miss the message.

Isn't it interesting that from time to time it switches? Sometimes the important things are being said by those under 30 and then those over 30. The reason I thought the quote was so interesting is because in the indie rock scene most bands are comprised of guys under 30 and they all sound the same...they all are apathetic and distant. They feel like they sound just spout witty catch phrases, but don't really have anything important or emotional to say. I tend to latch onto the bands that do have something to add or to say.
