So, the candidate matcher is going around. Supposedly, it tells you who you should vote for. What's up with everyone on my flist getting all the Democrats first and all the Republicans last? No matter how I fill it out, I always get a mix-up. I guess this is why I'm a registered Independent.

Well, socially, I'm super liberal in a libertarian sense. I believe in individuality and no government intervention in citizen's private lives - like legalizing all drugs and prostitution. However, I'm financially conservative and believe that most aid should be provided by charities, not the government.

Huh. I also got all the Democrats first. Guess I'm a freakin' liberal after all;P And apparently my ass would never vote for Mike Huckabee either; he was dead last on my list with only 23%. Dammit, Chuck Norris! I thought I could trust you! XD

Oh yeah, and the guy on top of my list? Not even running anymore. Guess I'm not voting this year either.

Haha... Bill Richardson's at the top of mine, and he just dropped out recently. He's actually the governor of NM (where I live). He came back with a flourish and has presented legislation to start a program to insure everyone in the state.

Mike Huckabee is an ass. He's the evangelical Christians' posterboy. He said this during a recent rally:
"I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God. And that's what we need to do, is to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards, rather than try to change God's standards."

My response is: WHAT THE FUCK? Change the Constitution just 'cause you're all up God's ass? The vast majority of your Presidents have considered themselves Christians, even evangelical Christians, but none of them had the audacity to say something that self-righteous and stupid.

I prefer to think that God in his/her supreme wisdom, would NOT want Mike Huckabee up his/her ass. But hey, that's just me. I think maybe what you meant was that Huckabee was something God shit out of his ass? Like he didn't need Huckabee anymore? (wink)
