I'm on a mission to verse myself in Danish pop/rock/indie, which I absolutely love. The problem is that the albums are so difficult to get my hands (ears?) on. Many of them have not been released in the United States, and several of them have never been released outside of Denmark. Why, I have no idea. It's very good stuff.
But I'm not going to talk about the good stuff right now. My thoughts are scattered, and I'm still tracking down digital copies of albums that I wouldn't have access to otherwise. I do, however, want to post one of the most ridiculous videos and songs I've come across in my searches. It's by a duo - Nik og Jay. And, holy crap, did I ever laugh at this video. I want to acquire the record just so I can listen to this in the car when I'm having a shitty day.
You guys, I freakin' fuckin' love ya. You'll understand if you can make it past the minute mark in the video. And, no, I have absolutely no idea what they're saying other than that and the occasional, 'Hey, darling' or 'Mammi.'
