Wendy's Frosties are like heaven in a tacky yellow cup.
I spent the last twenty minutes in the Nextel Service and Repair Center with one of the company phones. I've discovered the negative side of being the only person authorized to make purchases on the company account. You actually have to do something - no delegation of responsibilities. Anyway, they only had People Magazine on the table in the waiting room. Wow. I don't understand why people buy that. Like I ever needed to know who wore a green dress to what red carpet event. And I certainly don't care about Brad and Angelina's baby. Hell, I don't care about any baby, really. So, yeah...boring. The overly cheerful account manager came out shortly after I gave up on the magazine to say hello to me and ask me if I loved Nextel. Love goes a bit far. I love Elvis Costello. I love Wendy's Frosties. I love foot rubs. I love great fanfic. Nextel? No, not really.
Do certain artists/bands/albums/songs remind you of a specific season? I was thinking about that in the car today (since I forgot my CD wallet at home and I certainly can't listen to any of the radio stations within 300 miles of this city). For example, Lisa Loeb always reminds me of winter. This is probably because I first began listening to her music during an expecially long and snowy winter in West Virginia years ago when I was younger. Everytime I hear her music, I see snow falling. The Pernice Brothers always remind me of summer simply because their sound and attitude is very much lazy, hot August with a sprinkler clicking away on the lawn. So? What do you think? Anyone remind you of a specific season? I think I'm yearning for spring. It's freezing outside.
