Fanfic and I Get Reacquainted

It looks like I'm going to write, despite my dry spell. I volunteered as a pinch hitter for the SS/HG Exchange on a whim since I've been itching to write something lately. I got an e-mail today requesting help with a last minute fic. I've got a choice of three prompts, two of which I'm considering. I'll sleep on it tonight and start on something tomorrow if I can stop flippin' coughing.

Has anyone heard Blake Lewis's album? It's adorable. He made an '80s boy band album. I'm completely in love with it. No, I'm not being facetious; I'm serious. I swoon, I swoon! He even reworks "Puttin' on the Ritz" and incorporates it into a song called "Gots to Get Her". If I could stay awake another ten minutes, I'd post mp3s my other favorites. As it is, I'm a few seconds from falling asleep on my keyboard. I love nighttime versions of medicines. This Theraflu is putting my ass to sleep.

I'm procrastinating already. I told myself I'd start on it this afternoon at work once I finished all my actual work. I finished everything an hour ago, but I haven't written a single word. Since this is a last minute fic, I have to get it turned by by the 20th. Eeek.

I told myself I wasn't going to do it, but then I saw Shiv's angry post in the community about missing authors and got the urge to write something. So many people had volunteered to write last minute fics that I didn't think I'd be asked. But I was, so here I go... I'm still stuck on which prompt I want to use.

I saw that too and felt very sorry for the mods - so many people disappearing must be nightmare.

With mine I found it relatively easy to choose a prompt (as one had a little addition the others didn't), but got stuck later on. I'm sure you'll come up with good ideas for at least one of the prompts :)
