As always, the doctor's appointment wasn't as horrible as I anticipated. I actually might like this new doctor better than my old one. We'll see how I'm feeling about it next year when my exam rolls around again. I do have to go and give blood for the usual battery of metabolic tests, so I guess I'll do that sometime before work one day this weeek. My blood pressure was in a happy place--118/67. No obvious cooties were found on my person and no lumps or bumps in my breasts, so I was sent home with a slip for the blood test and a prescription for more birth control pills.

I've had the V for Vendetta graphic novel for quite some time, but I haven't read it yet. I sat down and read several pages of it last night. It's so good. Words cannot explain. In fact, it was so good I pulled out the film version and watched half of it before I went to bed. Little Vs danced in my dreams.

For everyone who hasn't had the pleasure, there is a most excellent almost-two-minute clip behind the cut. V shall endeavor to introduce himself to you (and Evey). I can just see [livejournal.com profile] mist72 over there swooning in her desk chair. Don't worry--I'm swooning too.

EDIT: Hugo Weaving, I luff you.

How cool! You should post a picture so I can see the sexiness that is a V figurine. I saw Hugo in The Interview a few weeks ago. All I could think of was V's voice. I really should re-watch the movie because it was quite good and very intense.
