Can you writers to get writing and bring Snape back? Because I'm majorly depressed today after the events of the book spent the night knocking around in my head. I need happy!Severus or rewarded!Severus, not sad and dead Severus. That's just so unfair. The poor guy had a crappy life from the beginning; he sacrificed so much for love. And what does he get? A snake bite to the neck? Excuse me? WTF.

I have a couple ideas, and I'm sure I'll end up writing at least one of them, but I'm such a slow poke at the writing thing. I need something now.

::taps foot and waits impatiently for happy fics to make me feel like I shouldn't be crying:: Because I did cry earlier this morning when I re-read the memories chapter. Yeah, I felt like pulling my heart out and stomping it into the floor, apparently.

Well, maybe I was yesterday. Now I'm not. I'm heart-broken. Poor Snape. I feel like he's been abused and left for dead (which I suppose he was). I'll be much happier after I read fic goodness about how he's actually alive and all.

So true, so true. I still feel sick over the whole thing. Tragedy, how I love and hate you at once. In a month's time, I'll have brought Severus (we're on a first name basis) back from the dead. Mark my words!

I know exactly how you feel. *hugs* Having finished the book just this afternoon I am still pretty shaken and teary. It seems so unfair. After all he did, Snape should have got the life he deserved.

I have a tiny little plot bunny that has begun to hatch, but as you know I am a very slow writer, so your story will probably be finished before mine.

But I am sure many others feel as we do and hopefully there will be loads of Snape/Hermione goodness to resurrect him.

I also cried at all of his memories, especially the one when he reveals to Dumbledore that his Patronus has never changed. Seeing him cry suddely put every moment from the past books into perspective, and I felt somewhat vindicated in thinking that he was just as if not more human than all of the other "good" witches and wizards around him all along. As for coming up with ways to bring him back from the dead? I don't know when I'll start writing, but I've got at least two good plausible ideas (and I must thank that slight bit of mercy in JKR for not killing him with the AK). It'll be the damned epilogue that gives me grief, though I've a few ideas about that as well.

Ya know, when I finished the book last night at one in the morning, I had a Lily Snape vignette rollin around my brain (I haven't written HP fic yet), but I was so tired that I lost it. Maybe it's just hiding. (you'll prob be getting an emial from me about the book, or check my LJ ;) I've been avoiding LJ cuz I knew you'd be reading it, but this morning I rushed right over hear to hear your thoughts!)

I know some people were a bit put off by the whole Snape/Lily thing, but I thought it was beautiful and so angst-ridden. I definitely have a couple one-shots in mind for that pairing, though I haven't written anything yet. You should type your vignette out and join the legions of crazy HP fic writers.
