Buying office supplies is one of my least favorite things to do. To make up for having to spend my afternoon jumping between office supply stores, I wasted about a half an hour of company time looking for a new pair of shoes. I’m such a chick when it comes to shoes. I found these…



Oooh...mucho caliente. I nearly bought a second pair with a lower heel and a thick band instead of the straps across the top, but I thought it’d be ridiculous to spend so much on shoes just because I was miffed over having to trudge around gathering toilet paper and glue sticks for the office.

I also happened to stop by a music store while I was on that office outing. The second Tweaker album 2 A.M. Wakeup Call is egg-cellent (say it like Mr. Burns). Especially "Truth Is" with melt-me-sexy vocals courtesy of Robert Smith, "Pure Genius" with David Sylvian, and "Movement of Fear". Chris Vrenna’s solo stuff with Tweaker rivals his stuff with NIN. Maybe that’s because I’m in a Trent-Reznor-can-kiss-my-ass mood. Oh, click on the song titles for an mp3. I will admit that I bought it partially because I couldn’t pull my eyes away from the cover art.



On a side note, is Jennifer Charles (of Elysian Fields) lending her voice to every album on my to-get list? Hey, I’m not complaining. I like her and I like her voice even more. Smoky, seductive, egg-cellent (Mr. Burns). Just an observation. Lovage and Tweaker. No one in my small world even knows of Elysian Fields, so it’s a thrill for me.

I once participated in a remix contest using a song off his first album. His work in video games is also quite good, mostly of the ambient/illbient variety. He recruits a lot of top-notch folks for collaborations.

And did you win this contest? Or were you sucessful regardless of whether you won or not? I was very impressed with the guest artists on the album...very respectable musicians.

My sex-ay Elysian Fields song on that CD I sent you. It's my favorite. As for the feet thing...feet are only attractive because they are attached to legs which are attached to bodies that you want do stuff with. ;-) Plus, heels are hot. I'm a total girl when it comes to shoes...I love heels. They make me feel sexier.
