I got a wee bit carried away at the fabric store last night. I came home with fabrics that were entirely too expensive and a sewing machine. Only I would ever buy a sewing machine on a whim. I’ve never used one before, so I practiced a bit last night before making something this afternoon.

It’s a knitting needle holder for all my lovely knitting needles. The pattern for it can be found in the first Stitch ‘n Bitch book. It's shameful how much it cost me to make this sucker. I'm sure it can be made for a decent price, but I fell in love with the pretty, pretty fabrics I used, and they were a pretty penny.

While I was at the fabric store, I picked up a gorgeous pasley-ish piece to make a tote bag. I'll probably put that off until next week, though.

In other crafting news, I'm still working on my hoodie. I've finished the body of it, but I still need to knit the two sleeves and the hood. I hope to have the first sleeve finished tonight and the second sleeve finished by the end of next week.

Yay! I'm not alone in my crazy buying habits. I'm fighting the temptation of yarn on EBay right now. There are such pretties on there that I want to spend hundreds of dollars on yarn I don't know what to do with.
