My mother has e-mailed me with family drama details. I suppose I should call her tonight before she bursts. Amy, my uncle's wife told my mother that she received a call from a gentleman who informed her that her husband was sleeping with his wife on their lunch break. The cheating woman is a forensic psychologist at a jail, and my uncle is a guard at that jail. Nice. She's pregnant, and her husband is sterile. The two couples are in an uproar. Amy told my mother the entire story, but swore her to secrecy. My mother can't keep a secret, so she e-mailed me with the sordid details because I never talk to anyone anyway.
Rules: If you leave me a comment saying "Interview me!", I will respond by asking you five questions of a potentially very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not. You then update your journal with the answers to the questions, and include this explanation with an offer to interview someone else in the post. Then, when others comment asking to be interviewed, ask them 5 questions that they answer in their journals, etc.
My five questions from
shalanar:
1. Where would you move if you could move anywhere in the world?
Somewhere with a decent amount of rain and/or snow and preferably near the sea. In the United States? Washington state or the New England area. Abroud? The U.K.
2. How has having a dog changed you and your life?
I spend loads of money on toys, the best food, and other assorted dog-things. It's actually pathetic. I've also been walking a great deal more because Ferguson does love his walks.
3. What is your favorite fast food restaurant?
I don't eat much fast food just because I don't eat meat. Most of the food that comes from those places has meat in it, or was made beside meat. Probably Wendy's just because they have the baked potatoes and side salads.
4. Do you believe that all people are intrinsically good and some just go bad, or do you think that some people are intrinsically evil?
There are very few people in the history of this world that I would consider intrinsically evil. I'm more of a nuture kind of gal in the nature/nuture debate. I think many of our actions and reactions are shaped by our surroundings and dealings with other individuals in our lives, as well as events that can shape our thinking.
5. What do you want your last words spoken to be?
I thought about this for a while, and I have no idea. I don't really have anything spectacular to say to the world. Perhaps something cheesy like, "I love you," to my significant other.
I reorganized my bookshelf last night. I know have a sense of inner calm to knowing everything is as it should be on those shelves, and every book has a happy home. I went a bit mad at the used bookstore on Monday. By the time I left, I had eight new books. I feel like I'm picking up strays and giving them a home.
I also watched a portion of The Chronicles of Riddick. I really do think that the artwork of the movie is fantasic, but there is something lacking in the plot. It's too action movie to me. But, the colors are deep and lush, and Colm Feore is to-die-for as Lord Marshall. So, I can deal with any short-comings. I even made a couple cutesy animated avatars.

Interview me!
I believe there are some people who ARE evil but not most. Maybe it's their brain chemistry that causes them to go bad?
