I've never seen all of the Twin Peaks episodes. Jason and I are going to rent the first season and watch an episode each night. I love David Lynch, so this should be a treat.

Still no further on the dog adoption. The woman who runs the shelter has a class this week and she's pressed for time. Impatience still reigns, but if I can get through this week, then there is a good chance that we can get the dog next week. I've gone absolutely mad with the toy-buying. I bought more on my lunch break today. I really need to stop.

I have MP3s of Akron/Family. They're the band from my last manic entry. I want them to come back to Albuquerque and play for me again and it's only been a few days.

I'll Be On the Water (When he says, "Thinking of you, there's lightning bolts in my chest," I pretty much die.)
Running, Returning
Future Myth

EDIT: And here's another track: Shoes. It makes me happy.

I used to have them all on VHS, but they're being EXTREMELY stingy about the release of the 2nd season on DVD, not to mention the pilot is STILL not available on DVD outside a REALLY shitty foreign version with terrible audio.

I thought Twin Peaks was marvelous although occasionally it made my head hurt and the scene with the bar-of-soap-in-the-sock still makes me cringe to think about.

"Damn fine pie."

Oh you *are* in for a treat! I did the same thing a few years ago, and couldn't restrict myself to one epi per night. Fortunately, we got a snow day around that time, so we spent a whole day watching Twin Peaks. Bliss.
