Work was a disaster today. This morning was quite lovely and very calm. This afternoon was a train wreck. One crisis after another and they all run to me. Friction between fellow employees made things that much worse. And someone is getting fired, but I'm the only other person that the boss has told. I've been charged with the task of finding a replacement for that person before their head is chopped off. I dislike being involved with the office drama, but somehow it finds me.
I found an old burned copy of the musical episode of Buffy. Ah, I love. Especially when Anthony Stewart Head sings. I'd probably marry him if he sang to me like that. And Hinton Battle singing "What You Feel"? That's my favorite. Perfect. "What a lot of fun. You guys have been real swell. And there's not a one who can say this ended well. All those secrets you've been concealing. Say you're happy now once more with feeling." It was just a perfect time for that sort of episode. A bit of humor, but an underlying darkness to it all.

That's one of my favorite Buffy episodes. I also love the one where they all lose their memory, and my favorite...Buffy and Spike.
You have a really broad job description...they aren't really paying you enough are they?

But! I still haven't seen the musical episode, and I'm dying to! They play it at a drinks'n'dinner movie theater here in town sometimes; apparently everyone sings along.
So far, "Hush" remains my hands-down favorite Buffy. Brilliant.
