Smart is sexy. Hermione is hot and I think the potential of her character in my own little head is much more interesting than the other characters (Harry, Ron, etc). I've recently been reading a great deal of Hermione/Snape fic. That pairing makes me drool. Some of the best HP fic that I've found is on Sycophant Hex (www.sycophanthex.com). They have several different specialized archives for particular charcters or pairings. And they also have a great rating system that lets you know the extent of the sexual content in the fic. So, if you're in the mood for something really naughty, you know which fics to go to first (they're labeled 'L' for lavacious). Some of the fic *nails* a grown-up Hermione...that boredom with those around her because her mind is much too quick for them.
