I am with you on the organic deodorant stuff. David read something about how bad normal deodorant is for you so decided he would start wearing the organic. Eight hours later, I told him he was going to be sleeping on the couch until he came to his senses.
As for the cape thing, a couple of months ago I saw a huge display of them at Macy's and was a bit put off despite the majestic prancing I felt compelled to do when I put one on. I think my main problem with them is less stylistic than it is practical - what about how cold your arms are?
