I'm still slightly ill, but I couldn't stop myself from getting on the new treadmill after work. I most likely pushed myself a bit too hard after doing nothing last week, but it felt ridiculously good to sweat until my shirt was soaked.
I've been listening to The Roots' Phrenology, which is perfection. I can't help but jump up and dance around the living room when the song I embedded below comes on. Don't take it too literally; it's really about switching up the musical genres and transcending the expectations and requirements placed upon them as a hip-hop group. Even if Cody Chesnutt does say, "I only wanna fertilize another behind my lover's back."
I also found a live performance of one of my favorites, "Water". You can find it here. "They say a record ain't nothing if it's not touching, gripping, draw you in closer make you want to listen to it." And just because it's a masterpiece of a song and video, I'll link "You Got Me" right here.
