I haven't seen the episode of True Blood that is airing tonight. No HBO, you guys. So sad. Anyway, I'm sure I can find a torrent of it tomorrow, so it's no big, dramatic deal. I finally got a chance to sit down and watch the third episode today. I have a few big problems (i.e. Jason and the V-Juice, Layfette as a drug dealer, etc), but I'm not going to nag. I'm trying to just go with the flow on this. And as much as I hated Sam and Tara sleeping together, I couldn't be too mad about it because the actor they chose to play Sam is just so freakin' charming and sweet that I melted during their scenes together. He plays Sam just right, and he looks exactly how I pictured Sam. I'm fan-girl giddy over him, for real. I want to start a website and write tons of fanfiction and be obsessed with Sam with other crazy people.

Oh, and I finished The Host by Stephenie Meyer. The second half was better than the first, and I ended up reading the majority of it in twenty-four hours. I'm so happy I read it, and I recommend it to anyone else in the market for something new. If a book makes me cry, then I count it as a damn good book, even if there are a quite a few Stephenine Meyer haters out there. Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] theredzebra1, Team Ian all the way! :-) How could anyone not love him?

I need to make some Sam icons, STAT.

I felt tonight's episode strayed even farther from the books, but Eric is perfect! And Sam is growing on me.

Agreement is boring, so I'll just say that: the straying bugs me, but Eric and Sam are delish. Eric's accent...cold and crisp as the biting Arctic wind.

*claps* I'm beyond thrilled that you liked The Host and Ian in particular. Doesn't the ending just....agh! *sniff* I wept off and on through the last part of the book.
"I held you in my hands and you were beautiful." *sigh*
