An Ancient Israelite sect called the Estenes dressed in white, as do some kabbalists. I should have been wearing all white from day one, but it was one of those rules I felt I had to build up to. Now that I'm doing it, I don't want to stop. From The Year of Living Biblically, by A.J. Jacobs. Definitely an interesting read. It makes me want to pick up the Bible again and compare what's in the pages to what I've internalized from years of religious education.
