I'm loving the gym every day. I feel so much better after working out. Sadly, I no longer have all of the equipment to myself. For the past week, I've had to share with one or two other people. Once everyone makes their New Year resolutions in January, I'm might actually get a membership at the place up the street just so I can have access to a treadmill instead of sharing one with multiple other people.

Also, I desperately want to go to the End the Fed rally in El Paso, but I didn't find out about it until today, and I don't think that is quite enough time to manage a drive down there and back over the weekend.

Also, if you've an extra five minutes, then here is something for you to ponder. I think it is terribly frightening, especially considering this little tidbit. Slippery slope, fellows. Real slippery. Are we already in Chapter 17? Have we managed to get that far? If you couldn't tell, I'm not entirely serious about that last statement. I don't think we've gone so far, but I do think it's a hop, skip, and a jump away. And that scares the hell out of me.

Oh, and in regards to the above paragraph, for crap's sake, don't respond back to me with, "OMG - don't liken our government to Hilter's regime." Because you know what? Some people in Congress (like my stupid representative Jeff Bingaman) want the effin' Fairness Doctrine, and that is unforgivable. Completely unforgivable. That is one step away from state-controlled media. No, I don't really think we're Nazi Germany, but I think some people in this country would gladly transform us into that in the name of fairness. Fuck fairness. Fend for yourself.

Well, hell... now I'm all worked up, and I didn't intend to bitch about it. But I did. Sorry. ::beats head on desk::
