Still packing, little by little. Why do I have so much stuff?

A co-worker sent me a picture of Albuquerque, and I was stunned at how beautiful this city can look when caught at just the right angle and time.

I promise super-duper wonderful pop/indie music from Denmark once I get settled into the new apartment next week or the week after. I have a load of it on my computer, and the songs are just begging to be released to new ears.

Crime Reports Website

I obsess over crime data. Maybe I'm paranoid. There is a new website up called CrimeReports.com that collects and maps police reports. I've spent the past hour being disgusted at the number of crimes in this city. Seriously. Nothing has been reported in the current apartment complex, though that certainly does not mean nothing is going on. Then again, nothing has been reported in the new apartment complex since February of this year. There were a couple assaults a few blocks over and down. There was a burglary and a report of a prowler a block away at the shopping center, but nothing beyond that. Considering the copious amounts of crimes occurring in every neighborhood, that's one of the best rates I've ever seen. It seems no place is completely safe, not even the gated country club community that borders the apartment complex to the west.

At any rate, it might help any of you who are hyper-aware of criminal activity when or if you decide to move.
