The new bed is in place and so very nice. It appears to be easy to move, so our move week after next shouldn't be too difficult.

Ferguson and I drove up to the new place and scoped out the park that is a little over half a mile away. It's in a gorgeous area called High Desert. The park has two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a beach volleyball court, a small stage for concerts, and several picnic tables. A bike path trails along the south end of the park, and there are several other dirt trails weaving around the north end of the park in the natural landscape. If I'm not mistaken, the trails continue across the road and eventually take you up to the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, which is considered a national forest. Anyway, I love the new park, and I'm thrilled that it is within easy walking distance of the new apartment.

I am so anxious to move into the new place. I've already packed up all the CDs, DVDs, videos, and books. I've also boxed up most of the stuff in the kitchen and pantry with the exception of things we'll be using in the next week or so. It took over ten boxes to pack up all of my books. Jason's collection used about six boxes. I would say that we have too many books, but you can never have too many books.
