To the Polls!

Who voted early in the NM primary? Me, that's who. They have an early voting location a couple blocks up from my apartment, so I went when I was home for lunch. Way back at the beginning of the year, I changed my political affiliation from independent to Republican so I could participate in the Republican primary. (Closed primaries suck the ass.) I put a big blob of ink beside Ron Paul's name because he's my hero. I know McCain has the nomination all wrapped up with a big bow, but my vote proudly went to Dr. Paul. Because, in all honestly, I will not vote for McCain or Obama. I find so many faults and inconsistencies with both of them that it turns my stomach to even think of giving either of them one iota of my support. Two sides of the same coin for sure. Which means I'll be writing in a candidate when the general election rolls around later this year. But, whatever... I'll deal.
