I got a new computer. It's a lovely laptop with loads of memory and a killer hard drive. So far, I'm very happy with it. I've spent the past month angsting over whether I should get a Mac or a PC. I ended up getting the PC because I could get a significantly more powerful computer for less money. I wasn't really willing to drop two grand on a nice Macbook, considering I got this computer for less than a thousand bucks. On sale. I love sales. Anyway, I spent the day moving all of my files over. It took forever, even with the 2GB flash drive. Everything is happy, and I've almost got the new system customized to my tastes. I had way too many audio files. Woah. The display is gorgeous - a high definition glossy widescreen. I'm drooling over it right now.
I also have a webcam now. I sent my mother and father the dorkiest video of Ferguson and I saying hello. They haven't seen me in over a year, so they're thrilled about the webcam. If I can manage to think of something worthwhile to say, then I'll post a video on here.
Other than the computer, not much else was accomplished this weekend. I did stop by Caricia's work and score some hair products on the cheap. She can't ever quit because I refuse to go back to using anything but salon quality stuff. And I certainly don't want to pay full price for it. She's turned me onto Pureology, a vegan line of products for all types of hair. It's ridiculously expensive in the saloon ($30 for a small bottle), but I got it for $15 a bottle at her store. The shampoo and conditioner make my head tingle.
