Yay for Me

Jason's mother is doing a firework display for Markel (niece) this evening, but we slipped out of going because Jason has to DJ a radio show today. It's Tombstone, my least favorite show, so I'll probably sit in the adjorning room to the studio and pretend like I can't hear the crappy music.

I started work on my stockings this morning after I took Ferguson for a walk. I've never knitted socks before, so the short row heel was intimidating until I figured out that it was perhaps the easiest thing ever. Most of the foot of the stocking is done, and I'm hoping to finish a good bit of the leg tonight while we're yucking it up at the radio station.



Oh, and I have the cutest dog ever. He likes to burrow into the blankets on the bed, cover himself, and lounge there like a human. I took a picture last night.
