It's snowing. Again. The last storm that hit Denver a week ago hovered around here long enough to dump about seven inches of snow on my car. Now there is another snow storm in Denver, and we're getting some sort of backlash. I went to work this morning, but we all ducked out of the office when it started snowing. My car has been parked for about an hour, and it's already got at least an inch on it. This is too much of a good thing. People around here don't know how to drive in the snow.

I took pictures for everyone who wants to see the beautiful white stuff. I'm sure those of you on the east coast are either missing it, or glad that you don't have it.

I also took pictures of my fabulous new chair and end table in the living room. The end table has two drawers to house some of my yarn and my knitting needles, crochet hooks.

And because a post with pictures wouldn't be complete without Ferguson, I took a picture of him in his cute muscle shirt. It says, "Squirrels...not just for breakfast anymore."

We have a security system in our apartment that is basically a motion detector. My remote to activate and deactive the thing broke two weeks ago. While I wait on the company to send me a replacement, I've been using my cell phone to turn it on and off. Because the security system is hooked into the phone line, I can call the apartment and speak directly to the main unit, turning it on and off with a code. Unfortunately, last night I connected a new phone into the system because our cordless phone was nearly ready to bite the dust. The new phone is causing a glitch, and the security unit won't answer my calls. Jason has a remote, but he's at work today. The alarm can be turned off by pushing a series of buttons on the unit, but that can't be done until the alarm is triggered. So, I had to break into my own apartment to turn the stupid thing off. Then I had to call the alarm company to ensure that they weren't going to notify the police. I really don't want APD banging on my door with gun drawn. I'm already having a bad day. The new girl at the bank entered my deposit incorrectly. She shorted me a hundred dollars. I realized this when I pulled into the parking lot of the apartment building. I had to take care of the alarm situation before I could call the bank. They say they are going to take care of it.
