I'm a weak, weak person. A month ago I told myself that I wouldn't listen to Damien Rice's new album until I had the actual copy in my hands. Originally, I was going to order it from a store in Ireland, but the cost of the CD and the shipping amounted to nearly thirty dollars. I couldn't justify paying twice the price to hear it no more than four days early. The release date here is Tuesday, the 14th. I was trolling around on his website today when I realized that he's streaming the entire album. My will power collasped in on itself, and I clicked on the devilish link to listen to songs. I've just gotten to the fifth track. Wow. It's so wonderful. I knew he wouldn't disappoint me. Because I'm so in love with it now, I cheated even more. I signed onto Bearshare and downloaded all the songs. I'll still buy the album on Tuesday, but this will make my weekend.
