Poo on Work (and Could It Be Possible I Am Writing Again?)

Everyone has taken the day off, and I'm stuck in the office by myself. This is preferable to having everyone busy as a bee on Monday morning, but I'd really like to take the day off myself. This isn't possible since I'm the only one around with a key and the alarm code to lock up this evening. Gah. This sucks. I haven't done a single piece of work this morning.

I finally started on the dreaded fic for the exchange. It's due in a month, so I have plenty of time to finish, rewrite, rewrite again, pick apart, and rewrite. I'm not sure where I'm going with it, though I have a general idea. I want a dreamy, angsty piece since it is supposed to be Christmas Eve in the story. I copied it over to my jumpdrive this morning so I could work on it today if I don't feel like doing actual work work. I still have the infamous Snape-and-Hermione-have-dinner fic that has been haunting me for several months. I started it long ago, but I'm still not happy with it. I should just post the damn thing and be done with it. I considered adding a couple chapters to it, but nothing would come out right. Perhaps when I get my groove back.
