I hope Jason's sister has her baby this weekend because it would be the most convenient time for me. Yes, I am aware that the last sentence sounded selfish. It's not like I even want to trudge down to the hospital to see the baby, but my not going would develop into a scandal of epic proportions.

To balance out my over productivity yesterday, I have decided to do virtually nothing at work today. The trick is to look like I'm doing quite a bit.

If anyone ever has the urge to meet my father you'll just need to watch Hulk Hogan's television show on VH1. The things that man says, the tone of his voice, and his mannerisms match my father so well. I can't watch the show without being creeped out. The last time I went home for a visit (December 2004?) he proceeded to drink several beers at La Careta and harass the Spanish-speaking busboy with a hug and a fifty dollar bill. That was after he insisted on introducing me to the entire staff of the restaurant. I didn't even like the food all that much. I think someone told him that I didn't like the food at his favorite place and his feelings have been hurt ever since.
