Who am I going to see tonight? Akron/Family. They're playing at The Launchpad. Even though The Launchpad is dirty and smokey as fuck, I'm still going because I hear they're very good live. It's an over-21 show, so the bands will start whenever they feel like it. We're not dropping by there until 10 because I highly doubt Akron/Family will start before midnight.
I'm still being slightly impatient about the dog situation. They received my application for the adoption, but still need to schedule a time with me to see the apartment. I was told that the woman who organizes the adoptions will be out all next week at a class. What does this mean for me? I probably won't be able to get him until week after next. I just keep telling myself that he's worth the wait and in the meantime I can read tons of websites about caring for dogs.
