I'm off to see Harry Potter in about an hour and a half. The movie doesn't start until 10:30, but I want to get there an hour early so my antipation will build. Plus, Jason promised me popcorn since I sacrified my tastebuds and ate Chinese food with him tonight.
In other news, after cleaning the apartment this morning I couldn't find anything to do. I have a recipe for pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting and I had everything but the canned pumpkin, so I went by the grocery store (which is a madhouse) and picked that up. The cake came out wonderfully. I'm just thrilled with myself because I actually made the icing. Go me. Who knew I could bake a cake and whip up the icing as well? Hidden talent? I think so.
Added the black streaks to my hair this evening. It looks oh-so-lovely. I've missed my calling. I should have been a hairdresser. A master chef/hairdresser. They would give me a show on the Food Network in which I would cook while coloring audience members' hair. You're all invited.
