I don't want PDS to disappear either. That's actually the main reason I haven't (won't?) decided to give it up completely. I'm not sure if anyone wants to take it over, and I'm not sure if someone would actually keep it running. It would be very sad if I handed over the site and the person only kept it going for a year before getting tired of it and not renewing the domain or something like that. Many people have told me that PDS actually introduced them to fanfic. I think that's awesome, and I wouldn't want to trash the site because of that. Anyway, I'm thinking of just pulling in two or three people to admin the site. People who actually want to work on it. I just need to be careful about who I give power to if they aren't already mods. I have no worries about giving any of the mods access to the site, but I'm not sure about other people who might volunteer. The access I'm planning on giving could allow someone to seriously screw up the site by accident.
