Have you only just started the Dresden books? I thought you were one of the people who'd recommended it to me. I too find myself cheering on Harry and Karrin. I never actually bought Harry/Susan, although the meeting of the two of them after was quite steam-worthy. Actually felt sort of embarrassed reading that entire section, and found myself wondering how easy/difficult Butcher might have found it to write.
