The company deposited almost three grand in my 401(k) account on Friday. They're doing that profit sharing thing that is based on a small percentage of each participate's salary. This rules. I feel so adult. I have a retirement fund, and I'm investing the money in mutual funds. Oooh, yay. I really should up my $25 a week contribution, so I can save more money. The only consolation is that I also deposit some of my check into a savings account as well.

stuff like that just reminds you that you're no longer a kid. and it feels good.

we had a profit sharing/pension/the company's going to hell in a hand basket meeting today at my job. not a good thing. most people lost $3k last year from their 401k. doesn't matter to me, because i can't touch anything in there for another 3yrs.
