That FEMA camp article is disturbing. I will say, at least part of the info on possible camps in California is incorrect. I know McClellan like the back of my hand, both as a military base, and now as a deactivated base, and there is no place there that could hold 30-35K people. Not as sure about Mather, but given all that's built up around there, I'm doubtful it could hold any appreciable number either. Neither could the old Army Depot.

But still...the concept is terrifying. And yet, I can't really say I'm surprised...which is what bothers me the most.
