Ungrateful

I am an ungrateful wench. I took this picture to express my sentiments toward this damn company Christmas party.



I shouldn't be whining about my attendance. On Wednesday, I went to the mall and paid for twenty-eight glorious pre-paid credit cards, all of which contain five hundred bucks. They will be handed out to all the employees at the party tonight, including me. I should be excited to get my gift card. Instead, I'm moping because I have to make myself presentable for a semi-formal occasion. My hair is still jacked up, and I need to fix it with some sort of hairspray. Can I just stay home and watch movies instead of watching my co-workers get shit-faced? Please?

I think since you bought the cards you should've just snagged yours when you bought it and called it a night.

I had to drive 2 hours from home to get to my work holiday party...

it's always good to see everyone. since i'm a consultant i really only get to see my actual co-workers about 3 times a year when we all get together since we're all spread out working at various clients. if i saw them every day, there would be no way i would make the drive!

You should have got 27 of the 500 buck cards and 1 with a bit more! I know just how you feel. At least that is one thing I haven't missed about work!
