Put the Shopping Bag Down

o_O I went to Kohl's to buy a pair of jeans. The pair I have is too big, and I can remove them without unbuttoning or unzipping. TMI, much? I wanted jeans. A pair of jeans. I left with a huge bag and $150 less in my wallet. I'm disgusted with myself, but I did get a myriad of wonderful things (shirts, jeans(!), capri khakis, bras, undies, a belt, a purse). All of it was on sale, too. That doesn't make my shopping spree any better, but I do feel proud of myself for not buying anything that wasn't on sale. Which is probably why everything at Kohl's is on sale. They know my M.O., the bastards.

My brothers' attorney knocked some more money off his fee since he and my dad are fellow lodge members. The bill is only fifteen grand, now.

I feel like taking a nap, but I really want to read more of Dead Until Dark.

Dern, i think you did good really. If you had it to spend...and you managed to get that much for that amount of money...you really did great...and your happier now too and have new goodies to wear. Heck, i don't think i could go to Wal Mart and get that much stuff for that amount...lol.

'You spent how much?!' is usually the response when I get home with 2 or 3 pair of shorts and like 7 tops. lol.

Yes, fifteen thousand. His usual price is $20,000, and he's representing both my brothers, so it was going to be $40,000. He knocked $5,000 off each of their fees because he and my dad go to lodge together. Then, after thinking about it some more, he called my dad and told him that he could just charge them $15,000 for both defenses since he'll be doing the same work for both of them. I would cry if I owed someone fifteen grand.
