Seasons

I didn't give my review of the weekend's movies on Sunday or Monday. Apparently I had bigger fish to fry. Anyway, Buckaroo Bonzai was...well, predictably silly and Jeff Goldblum was the only thing I really enjoyed. Delicattesan was better than I had hoped for and I giggled my way through the majority of the film. The creators were the same men who produced The City of Lost Children, another great French film. The last one from the weekend's rents was Dog Day Afternoon. Great performance by Al Pacino and many laughs (at least during the first half of the movie).

It rained the majority of the day and the moisture was just as welcome as it was yesterday. I left my office window open even if the floor got a bit wet. There's something special about a nice autumn rain. I look forward to the temperature dropping a bit more. Nothing can beat hot chocolate on a chilly morning while I'm driving to work. I long to pull out my scarf for the winter.

Many people might not guess it, but New Mexico has a really lovely autumn, which truly *feels* like autumn. A random suggestion: find a copy of Peter Gabriel's "Passion" (soundtrack to Last Temptation of Christ), take it and the headphones for a stroll around some desert-y area this fall.

I'll even reimburse you for the CD if you don't like it :)

Passion is now on my to-get list. I'm sure you won't need to reimburse me for the purchase, seeing as how you have such awesome taste in music anyway.

You'll have to tell me what you think. I've been listening to it for over 12 years now, and it remains an all-time favorite as well as a must-have for autumn. And in arid climates? It's sublime.
