Cloverfield was the suck. I have only met one person who liked it out of the many friends that saw it.

Evangelion? It is kinda good. Shinji was annoying as hell. (whinier than Relena from Gundam Wing) The ending is strange and depressing. But, I'm picky with anime so go ahead and try it for yourself.

and speaking of anime, have you seen Saiyuki yet? I keep pimping it out to people because I know so few people who have watched it and i've really enjoyed it.
