Jason and I watched The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly last night. Goodness, I had no idea Clint Eastwood was such a sexy bastard back in the day.

One of my favorite bands, the pAper chAse (yes, the caps are intentional), is releasing an album this month. In celebration, I've uploaded my favorite song. Ahh, intellectually violent. Someone I know was distressed that her stepsons like Insane Clown Posse and Slipknot. The boys enjoyed scaring her with the evil, edgy, crazy, angry music. Kid stuff, I told her. Let John Congleton cut you down...

So, How Goes the Good Fight?

In an effort to lessen the time it takes me to get out the door in the morning, I got a neat thing called a Blender Bottle. Typically, I eat cereal for breakfast, though I get little joy out of it since it is too early in the morning to even want to eat anything. The Blender Bottle is a plastic container with a flip lid. It comes with a metal spring-like doo-dad that is dropped in with your beverage. After putting the lid on, you shake it up and let the doo-dad do its work to blend the whatever. I have some protein powder drink mix called Spiru-tien. It's intended as a meal replacement when combined with milk. So, I'm going to do that. Upping my protein intake certainly can't hurt, and it will get me out the door faster since I can drink it in the car on my way to work.

I got it in my head that I need to read Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. I don't want to drop the insane amounts of cash to buy all the volumes, so I looked up the library online. They have all the volumes, but the first two are checked out and not due to be returned until the end of May. Drats.

Maybe my fangirly lurv of Rorschach has infected me with absolutist tendencies and a need to viciously defend my own personal morality. This would include throwing people down elevator shafts, which I might do if there were any in this building. Look...

Gah. He's ripping a piece of cloth. Oh, Walter. Why so hot? Why so hot even with a nasty bruise covering your cheek?

I knew I was forgetting something. I left my cell phone charger plugged into the wall by the nightstand in the damn hotel. I didn't notice until this evening when my phone ran out of battery power. Luckily I have a car charger that will due until the replacement arrives in the mail. I'm not too sore over it because I found a deal on the replacement charger. Life goes on.

I desperately need monsoon season. This dryness is getting to me. I'd perform a rain dance outside on the balcony in my underwear if I thought it would cloud the sky and give me a nice thunderstorm.

Not too long ago I did an entry pushing Semi-Auto Angel, a manga-style comic on Wirepop.com. I subscribed to Wirepop to read the comic because it is so incredibly good. Anyway, I dropped by the message board (which is rather dead) and gave a hello and professed my love of the comic book. One of the creators of the comic told me to send him my address and he'd send me one of their little logo buttons since I was nice enough to subscribe. So, I did. I got two buttons in the mail today from him. They're so awesome and I'm such a geeky fangirl. I put them on my purse because it's far to plain for my tastes and needed to be livened up a bit.

The logo kicks ass. And the teddy bear (named Bashi) was rather cute as well.

I was trolling around onlinecomics.net this morning looking for something of interest to amuse me. It's not that I don't have work to do, but I lack motivation to do it. I'm rather picky when it comes to comics, so I was surprised when I found one that grabbed me right away.

Semi Auto Angel - Humanity struggles against a mysterious enemy with the ability to "possess" an individual through the slightest contact. Standing against this overwhelming opponent is a sixteen-year-old girl and her unusual protector.

The premise sounds relatively simple, but the link to the website will prove different. I was extremely impressed with the wealth of detailed information to supplement the reading of the comic. So I spent the morning reading the background information so I could delve into the comic itself tonight. If you want the archive of the past pages, then you have to subscribe to it on Wirepop.com. It's only $3 a month, so I gave in and subscribed. The money will also get you access to all other comics on Wirepop.com. I must say that it's been worth the small amount.

End sales pitch.

(I swear they aren't paying me to do this. I'm just rather excited about a new outlet for my fangirl obsessiveness.)
